About Me

I have two primary hobbies: gathering knowledge and creating. Subject matters I covet range from science and technology to history and psychology. In short: almost everything interests me. My creative side is just as eclectic. I've ventured into: drawing, painting, animating, sculpting, pottery, cooking, gardening, and of course writing.

Writing is a subset of my love of storytelling. I wrote my first novel in high school, but have yet to publish anything. I got into animation when I attended Purdue at the Indianapolis campus (IUPUI). Animation let me bring to life the stories I created. The entire process sharpened my ability to tell a good story by helping me focus on attention to detail, pacing, and general composition.

I recently started focusing more on my written works. This is, in no small part, thanks to NaNoWriMo. This small push, and the support of like-minded individuals it held, struck a chord with me. The story I started then grew into a SIX book series. I’m currently working on the series named After Sanity and the first book is Corporate Aspirations.

I've stopped actively looking for representation and have decide I will give it a go with the Self-Publishing route. Expect to see After Sanity: Corporate Aspirations coming to a Kindle near you some time this summer.

Q: So you went to Purdue, did you graduate and if so with what?
A: I received a Bachlor's Of Science for Network Administration, and a Bachlor's of Science in Technical Animation and Spatial Graphics.

Q: What's with that Purdue hat? Seriously, I've seen you wear it in 90 degree weather.
A: Me and my Purdue beanie had been a fixture on the IUPUI campus for nearly a decade. People KNOW me by the Beanie. Some people literally know me as "Purdue beanie dude." It's kind of like Steve Jobs and those turtle necks.

Q: So you have a lot of hobbies, anything you DIDN'T list?
A: Plenty actually. The biggest unknown is probably the fact I am an avid LARPer. I love great storytelling and being able to live and help shape it is even better. Add in a weekend of great exercise in the woods and my only regret is not finding out about it sooner.

Q: Any Pets?
A: Yup, a turtle.

Q: No "Fur Kids"? Cat/ Dog?
A: Not currently.
